CNS 5550. Seminar in Professional School Counseling (3 credits) This course is a seminar about the principles, procedures, and emerging trends in professional school counseling. A variety of topics that are currently addressed in the professional school counseling literature will be studied. This course is designed to examine the development, organization, administration, and evaluation of comprehensive developmental P-12 school counseling programs that promote access and equity for all students. PREREQ: Completion of all core counseling courses or permission of the instructor.
