CRJ 3180. Criminal Justice Administration and Management (3 credits) This course examines the duties of administrators and managers in a criminal justice agency by studying the formal nature of bureaucratic organizations, the processes of leadership, management, decision- making, organizational communications, staffing, training, planning, budgeting, evaluation, organizational development and controlled change; and acquaints students with historical developments, applications of managerial and organizational theories, principles and practices and problems of administering and managing criminal justice organizations. PREREQ: CRJ 2000 .
