CRJ 3910. Constitutional Rights of Prisoners (3 credits) This course provides an introduction to the rights and responsibilities of inmates from both a national and international perspective. The course will place an emphasis on the rights of male and female prisoners with respect to use of force, visitation, use of mail, internet, and telephone, administrative segregation, religion, legal services, disciplinary proceedings, parole and probation, rehabilitation programs and medical care, and human rights among other topics. PREREQ: CRJ 2000 .
