CRJ 4000. Criminal Procedure (3 credits) A critical examination of the due process rights guaranteed to individuals in the justice system. Emphasis will be on the impact of the Bill of Rights on the practices of police, prosecutors, and judges. Evolving constitutional foundations of the justice system are examined, along with a review of the remedies available for the violation of these rights. PREREQ: CRJ 3000 or permission of the instructor.
