ECE 3110. Behavior and Environments for Early Childhood Education (3 credits) This course is designed to help address the growing questions posed by many early childhood professionals regarding the “whys?” of a child’s challenging behavior. Research-validated practices will be presented that will help future and current professionals understand and address a child’s persistent behavior(s) and create environments to encourage young children to use socially appropriate behaviors in early childhood and kindergarten settings. There is a required field experience in this course. PREREQ: Admission to Teacher Education
