ECE 4040. Differentiation, Individualization, and Universal Design (3 credits) This course provides the opportunity to learn about variations in learning styles and student needs while examining strategies to individualize instruction within inclusive classrooms for young children. Topics addressed in this course include: differentiation and individualization of instruction; universal design for learning (UDL); strategies for developing and implementing modifications and accommodations; and appropriate use of technology to meet individual student needs. There is a required field experience in this course. PREREQ: Admission to Teacher Education
