BIO 3420. Pollution Ecology (3 credits) An introduction to the sources, nature, transformations, and distribution of pollutants within biological and ecological systems, with emphasis on how those systems are affected. Emphasis will be placed on those aspects of chemistry, physiology, and ecology most useful for practitioners in the field of environmental science. Content will draw on general and specific pollution sources and events. Lecture. PREREQ: CHM 1300 recommended.
