ENG 3670. Contemporary Fiction (3 credits) A critical study of selected works of fiction from post-World War II to the present, covering representative authors of the short story, novella, and novel. The course examines contemporary fiction in relation to social and cultural contexts, with particular attention to modernism, postmodernism, and narrative technique. PREREQ: ENG 3040 or permission of instructor.
