SWK 2450. Human Diversity and Populations at Risk (3 credits) Crosslisted: (SOC 2450) This course is designed to provide the student with a theoretical perspective on human relations and to aid the student in acquiring a better understanding of diversity as it applies to selected groups in the United States. Although other historically disadvantaged groups may be addressed, a case study approach is utilized for the following: African-Americans, Asian-Americans, Native-Americans, Latin- Americans, women, LGBT, and religious group populations. Social work majors must complete this course with a minimum of grade C. PREREQ: ENG 1050, 1060
