NUR 3050. Pharmacology for Clinical Practice (3-3-0 credits) This course examines the major categories of pharmacotherapeutic agents used in the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health and treatment of illness in individuals across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on understanding the pharmacologic actions of the drugs, expected client responses, adverse/side effects, and implications for nursing care. PREREQ: Prelicensure BSN Students Only or permission of instructor (RN-BSN only)
