CSC 2260. Introduction to Operating Systems (3 credits)

A ground-up introduction course to discuss various types of operating systems. This course covers the design and implementation of topics including, but not limited to, process management, synchronization mechanisms, scheduling strategies, deadlock detection and prevention, and memory management. PREREQ: C or better in CSC 1760 or CSC 2050
