GLY 4040. Remote Sensing (3 credits)

Crosslisted: GGY 4040
Remote sensing of Earth’s surface. Techniques of photography, multispectral scanning, and microwave imagery from airplane, satellite, and manned-spacecraft platforms. Image interpretation, practical applications in Earth Science, and use of remotely sensed data in Geographic Information Systems. Requires concurrent enrollment in lab GGYL 4040.
