ELE 5110. Assessment in Elementary Education (3 credits)

This course offers a comprehensive examination of national, state, and local classroom assessment practices, as well as their alignment with desired student outcomes. Teacher candidates learn to select appropriate assessments, collect and analyze data, interpret results, and create instructional plans and accommodations. Emphasis is placed on using data-driven decisions to improve teaching effectiveness and student learning.
