MUS 3645. Arranging for Songwriters (3 credits)

A study of theory and arrangement techniques as applied to the popular music and songwriting idiom. Original compositions will be written and arranged for various-sized ensembles. Students will understand the major components of a professional demo and creating a songwriting portfolio. PREREQ: MUS 3305
