SCE 5820. Research Methods in Science Teaching and Learning (3 credits)

Introduction to science education research methods including reading published educational research and publishing one’s own research. Ethics of research and analysis methods of qualitative and/or quantitative techniques commonly used in science education research. Designing a research project and piloting methods as well as interpretation of data and oral and written communication of science education research. Limited to MA and MAED science education students only.
