NUR 1200. Health & Behavioral Health Careers (3 credits)

This course introduces the student to interprofessional health care professions and delivery in rural and urban areas experiencing numerous social determinants of health. Best practices are emphasized for collaboration, effective communication strategies, and culturally competent practices. Ethical issues related to team management in healthcare are discussed.
