The University of North Carolina at Pembroke 2026-2027 Catalog

PED 4400. Middle School PE Methods (3 credits)

This course will discuss proper physical education for middle school. The course will heavily focus on the assessment of psychomotor, affective, and cognitive domain for PE. Students will learn concepts of trustworthiness, statistics, and authentic assessment. Part 3 of edTPA will be covered. Lastly, fitness testing will be examined.
