EDN 2100. Introduction to Education (3 credits) This course provides students with knowledge of the philosophical, historical, sociological, legal, financial and structural foundations of education with opportunities to analyze contemporary issues, problems and trends in the field of education. Course activities and field assignments are designed to nurture the professional disposition for critical reflection. All teacher education majors will be required to enroll in and earn a grade of “C” or better. PREREQ: PREQ: 30 semester hours and 2.0 GPA. Required for admission into the Teacher Education Program. Field experience is required
