PHY 2000. University Physics I (3 credits) A study of Classical Newtonian mechanics with an emphasis on Newton’s three laws of motion. This calculus-based course describes the nature of motion, forces, energy, momentum, collisions, rotation, gravitation, sound, and heat. A beginning course expected in such curricula as pre-engineering, physics, etc. PREREQ/COREQ: MAT 2210 .
