SWK 2000. Introduction to Social Work (3 credits)

This course provides an historical and current overview of the social welfare system and the field of social work. It covers basic social work concepts, social welfare structure and services, and an overview of social work intervention methods. Social work majors complete this course with a minimum of grade C.
