CHM 3520. Organic Chemistry III (3 credits) A study of organic chemistry emphasizing the major spectroscopic methods, including NMR, IR, UV/Visible, and mass spectrometry, and how data from these sources are used to determine the molecular structure of organic compounds. Laboratory projects are included. PREREQ: Consent of instructor and concurrent registration in either CHM 3990 or CHM 4990 for 1-3 semester hours.
