PHY 3260. Heat and Temperature (3 credits)

Heat and its effects; heat engines and their limitations. The concepts of entropy and other facets of thermodynamics. PREREQ: PHY 1000 , PHY 1500 , or PHY 2000  and a working knowledge of calculus.
