The Chemistry & Physics Department offers a Chemistry Minor that provides students a broad foundation in chemical science and requires 20 semester hours of course work.

General Chemistry

Eight (8) hours of general chemistry

CHM 1100. General Chemistry Laboratory I (1 credit)
CHM 1110. General Chemistry Laboratory II (1 credit)
CHM 1300. General Chemistry I (3 credits)
CHM 1310. General Chemistry II (3 credits)

Additional Chemistry Coursework

A minimum of twelve (12) hours from the courses listed below:

CHM 2260. Elementary Inorganic Chemistry (4 credits)
CHM 2270. Analytical Chemistry (4 credits)
CHM 2500. Organic Chemistry I (3 credits)
CHM 2520. Organic Chemistry Laboratory I (1 credit)
