The students will attain the competencies and skills necessary to progress from idea generation, to innovation, to commercialization, to growth and sustainability for small businesses and entrepreneurial ventures and for innovative corporations. The program will reinforce the mission of entrepreneurship, “The emphasis here is to allow the students with faculty supervision to create plans and develop products and/or services for a viable business entity” and extend it to encourage students to engage in entrepreneurial and innovative thinking, mindset, and action.

Business Major-Specific General Education Requirements
Please note that many majors have specific general education requirements. Please see a faculty advisor in your department if you need further clarification. You will be required to take the following courses to meet your general education and business administration requirements including: Common Body of Knowledge: 39 Sem Hrs.
Business Electives: 6 Sem. Hrs.
Select 6 hours of Business Electives 3000 or higher. Entrepreneurship and Innovation Concentration: 18 Sem. Hrs.
The emphasis is to allow the students with faculty supervision to create plans and develop products and/or services for a viable business entity and extend it to encourage students to engage in entrepreneurial and innovative thinking, mindset, and action. General Electives: 12 Sem. Hrs.
