Clinical Prevention and Population Health—This specialty concentration aligns with the Mckenzie Elliott School of Nursing’s commitment to advancing health equity and community partnerships; this program emphasizes prevention and population-focused care as central to professional nursing practice. Students engage with the principles of epidemiology, social determinants of health, and evidence-based health promotion strategies across diverse populations and care settings. Through interprofessional collaboration and applied learning, graduates are prepared to design, implement, and evaluate preventive interventions that improve health outcomes and foster resilience in individuals, families, and communities.
