The Master of Arts in Science Education (M.A.)
Requirements for a Master of Arts in Science Education
Core: Required courses: 15 Sem. Hrs.
Content: Choose 21 credit hours from the following:
A concentration in one of these areas: 12 Sem. Hrs.
(note: Biology Education majors may choose 15-18 hours in Biology) Additional courses in the three areas outside of the concentration: 9 Sem. Hrs.
Students must complete at least 3 semester hours in each of the three areas outside of their area of concentration. Capstone Experience
Each candidate must select and successfully complete a Comprehensive Portfolio as the final product of the program and successfully complete a Comprehensive Exit Oral Interview. Total: 36 Sem. Hrs.
