This course focuses on the integration of computer and information science to support the practice of healthcare professionals. Emphasis is placed on ethical and legal considerations related to the use of social networking tools, electronic devices, Internet resources, and electronic health records/databases in the provision of safe, effective, timely, and quality healthcare. PREREQ: Minimum of sophomore classification; declared nursing majors only.
