ATH 4100. General Medical Conditions and Pharmacology I (2 credits) This course provides the senior athletic training student with a background of the general medical evaluation and an introduction to pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. In addition, students will learn to recognize the common medical conditions of the respiratory system, cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal system, and genitourinary and gynecological systems along with the common medications used to treat those conditions.
