ENV 3100. Freshwater Ecosystems and Watershed Management (4 credits)

An introduction to the ecology of ponds, lakes, streams, and rivers. Topics covered include plant and animal communities, abiotic factors affecting these communities, water chemistry, sampling/monitoring techniques, and management strategies for aquatic ecosystems and adjacent watersheds.
