MAT 3150. Linear Algebra I (3 credits) An introduction to the theory of vector spaces, linear transformations, systems of linear equations, matrices, inverses, rank, determinants, inner products. Applications of matrices to problems involving systems of equations. It is highly suggested that students take MAT 2300 prior to this course. PREREQ: C or better in MAT 2210.
