SOC 3130. The Community and Urban Sociology (3 credits)
This course introduces students to the political, economic, social, and cultural forces that impact communities, with special attention given to urban communities. Sociological case studies will be used to illustrate classical and contemporary theoretical approaches to understanding urban life. PREREQ: SOC 1020 or SOC 2090.
