SWK 3850. Social Work Practice II (3 credits) A continuation of SWK 3800, this course provides students with the necessary skills for working with groups, organizations, and communities to affect social change. The course enables students to research and gather date from community stakeholders to explain the impact of social problems and identify a solution. Students will incorporate diverse and inclusive perspectives to explain impacts of social problems as well as advocate for client access to services and social justice. This course challenges social work students to critically look at their role in society as change agents. Social work majors must complete this course with a minimum of grade C. PREREQ: PLS 1000 or 1010; SOC 1020, 1050, or 2090; SWK 2000, 2450, 3050, 3450, and 3800; ECN 1000, 2020, or 2030; and formal admission to the BSW Program
