SWK 4750. Working with Children Through Play (3 credits)
This elective course explores the role of play when working with children and adolescents in a variety of settings. It offers an overview of the essential theories and principles of using play as a modality when working with youth. It also explores situations in which using play may strengthen the rapport and increase benefit to the client.
