DSC 4750. Prescriptive Analytics (3 credits)
This course introduces an overview of simulation and risk analysis and the common techniques of optimization. It focuses on basic Monte Carlo simulation, risk analysis and methods of creating mathematical models for optimization problems and their applications in business decision making. PREREQ: A “C” or better in DSC 3180.
