OCCT 5350. Clinical Decision Making I (3 credits) This course is designed to facilitate the integration of content learned across the curriculum. Through lectures and level I fieldwork, students will gain exposure to diverse patient populations, assessment methods, interventions, and documentation. Students will have the chance to interact with individuals and groups in the community, and gain experience in skilled observation, documentation, interprofessional communication, and teamwork. Students will cultivate skills in professional reasoning, therapeutic use of self, building trust and rapport, and fostering community engagement and wellness.
