ITM 5600. Systems, Security, Reliability, and Privacy (3 credits) This course examines industry-standard practices for protecting and controlling information systems to affirm credibility in an organization’s IS/IT security, privacy, and control solutions. This course further examines the best practices for ensuring systems security and information privacy for organizations. It introduces the topics of information asset security frameworks, standards, and guidelines, privacy principles, network and end-point security, along with emerging technologies. Graduate-level students are required to complete a capstone project related to the course.
